Through her consultancy, Well Chosen Words, Jen develops public histories: social and community histories, organisational histories, oral histories and life/biographical histories. She also conducts historical significance assessments and provides historical research services. She specialise in histories of community service organisations and her work was awarded the 2020 Victorian Community History (Diversity) Award. Her histories can capture the unique story of a social or community movement or group, the development and achievements of an organisation or business and the personal journey of an individual. While she specialises in developing online digital histories, she can produce histories in a range of formats, including books, podcasts, oral history documentary, research reports or simple booklets.
